What is Living Faith Tutorial?

Tutorial: an educational facility or program designed to provide instruction and support to students outside of the traditional classroom environment.

We like to think of the tutorial as an alternative education option for parents - the perfect blend of homeschooling and a collaborative classroom setting where students learn among peers in small groups of likeminded individuals. Some call alternative learning groups like ours “learning pods” or “micro schools.”

Some of the reasons our families choose Living Faith Tutorial:

STRUCTURE
Through regular class days and carefully planned schedules, we ensure consistency across all subjects, alleviating concerns about maintaining academic excellence.

TRAINED TUTORS
We employ passionate tutors who are trained in a relational approach in order to help
cultivate a love for learning and essential self-education skills.

FAITH CENTERED
Our students learn that our faith is interwoven into every aspect of learning, guiding students to connect with God, mankind and the world we’ve been given to steward.

Living Faith Tutorial operates as a drop-off program for students currently enrolled in a NC homeschool. We provide a comprehensive and excellent classic liberal arts curriculum taught by trained tutors in a small classroom environment. By implementing a relational educational method, we believe wholeheartedly that students will have the ideal opportunity to grow academically and spiritually while leaving behind the lengthy hours, stress, and pressure associated with conventional education.

If you are not a homeschool family, but are interested in an alternative learning experience, please email us. We are happy to help you get started.

Our Tutorial

Each of our classrooms features a dedicated area for reading-focused subjects. Students will engage with the Bible, poetry, literature and other reading materials in a comfortable, family-style environment.

Living Faith Tutorial partners with each family, reinforcing discipleship within a framework of educational excellence. Our aim isn’t to shield children from society or solely to produce high-achieving students, although we do provide a nurturing environment with excellent academics. Instead, we strive to foster spiritual, social, and academic maturity in young men and women as they prepare for adult life.
